Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort, is pleased to announce the appointment of Felix Schlokat as its new General Manager. Schlokat, who joined the resort in September, will lead the 715-room property, overseeing hotel operations, guest experience, and daily services. Schlokat brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from his impressive career in hospitality management, that will further elevate the all-inclusive experience at Hilton Cancun.
Schlokat brings over a decade of experience in luxury hospitality, most recently serving as Hotel Manager at Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort, the brand’s first all-inclusive property in Tulum. From February 2021 to August 2024, Schlokat led operations at the 735-room resort, gaining expertise in managing large-scale properties and delivering top-tier guest service.
Born in Germany and raised in Austria, Felix Schlokat developed a passion for hospitality early in life. Over his career, he has gained extensive experience managing luxury properties across various regions. During his time with Grupo Piñero at Bahia Principe hotels, Schlokat oversaw properties ranging in size from 550 to 1,080 rooms and acquired valuable expertise in managing large-scale, complex operations. His leadership was instrumental in the rebranding and preopening initiatives at properties with Grupo Piñero in Mexico and Jamaica. In 2019, Schlokat was appointed General Manager of Nobu Hotel Los Cabos and following the successful opening he was promoted to Managing Director, overseeing both Nobu Hotel Los Cabos and Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, a 639-room all-inclusive resort.
