Two migrants from Uttar Pradesh have been shot at by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam on Friday. Their situation is alleged to be steady. They have been engaged on Jal Jeewan Mission in Budgam.

Sufiyan and Usman have been injured after being shot at within the Mazhama space of Magam within the central Kashmir district, officers mentioned.

They have been taken to a hospital and have been acknowledged to be in steady situation, the officers added.

The incident is the most recent in a sequence of terror assaults within the Union territory in current months. Earlier this week, terrorists belonging to Pakistan-sponsored Jaish-e-Mohammed had attacked an ambulance in an Indian Military convoy in J&Ok’s Akhnoor sector.

The safety forces eradicated three terrorists in counter-terror operations.

In line with a PTI report, the terrorists have been planning a serious strike, utilising the Akhnoor route historically utilized by operatives of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror group.

In line with intelligence reviews, the terrorists entered the Akhnoor area by the Battal space, and a wi-fi set seized from them confirmed their affiliation with the JeM.

On October 24, two Military troopers and two civilian porters have been killed after terrorists attacked a navy car in Baramulla. 

Earlier on October 20, a physician and 6 development employees have been killed when terrorists attacked a tunnel development website on the Srinagar-Leh nationwide freeway in Ganderbal district.

 

‘Terrorism won’t be tolerated’: PM Modi

Addressing the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations in Gujarat’s Kevadiya on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned that terrorism won’t be tolerated and urged the nation to strengthen its unity within the face of ongoing challenges.

“Terrorists’ ‘masters’ now know that harming India will not yield outcomes, as India will not spare them!” ANI quoted the prime minister.

“The individuals of Jammu and Kashmir have rejected the age-old agenda of separatism and terrorism. They’ve made the Structure of India and the democracy of India victorious. They’ve put an finish to the propaganda happening for 70 years with their votes. In the present day, on Nationwide Unity Day, I salute the individuals of Jammu and Kashmir,” PM Modi mentioned.
