It is official. Ranbir Kapoor And Sai Pallavi’s Ramayana Half 1 can be launched on Diwali 2026. The second half will hit the theatres throughout the Pageant of Lights in 2027. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie will characteristic Ranbir as Lord Rama, Sai as Goddess Sita, and South star Yash as Ravana. Producer Namit Malhotra formally introduced the two-part venture on Wednesday on Instagram. Sharing a poster of Ramayana, Namit Malhotra wrote, “Greater than a decade in the past, I launched into a noble quest to carry this epic that has dominated billions of hearts for over 5000 years to the large display screen. And immediately, I’m thrilled to see it taking form fantastically as our groups work tirelessly with just one objective: to current probably the most genuine, sacred, and visually gorgeous adaptation of our historical past, our reality, and our tradition – our “RAMAYANA”– for individuals internationally.”

He added, “Be a part of us as we fulfill our dream of bringing our best epic to life with pleasure and reverence. Half 1 in Diwali 2026 and Half 2 in Diwali 2027. From our total Ramayana Household.” 

The announcement was made simply weeks after Yash confirmed his affiliation with Ramayana. The KGF Star revealed that along with enjoying the function of Ravana, he may also be co-producing the venture with Namit Malhotra. The actor instructed The Hollywood Reporter India, “If the character is handled like a personality… if this does not occur immediately, then the movie will not occur. To make a movie with that form of finances, you want these sorts of actors to return collectively and work for the venture. It must be past your self and your stardom. Now we have to position the venture and the imaginative and prescient first.”

He added, “For those who had requested me ‘would you play every other character?’ Most likely not. For me, Ravana is probably the most thrilling character to play as an actor so I actually just like the shades and the nuances of a selected character. There’s huge scope to current it in a really totally different method.” 

Ramayana is at the moment in its pre-production stage.
