He will oversee the hotel’s dining and beverage operations, including the recently reimagined signature restaurant, The Social Club, and outdoor restaurant and bar, High Tide Beach Bar & Grill.

Rios joins Kimpton Surfcomber from The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., where he served as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage. His career spans prestigious establishments, including the Waldorf Astoria and The Ritz-Carlton, with notable achievements in operations, team leadership, and guest satisfaction. Throughout his career, Rios has been recognized for creating memorable dining experiences, including several accolades for the Bull & Bear restaurant in Orlando, where he served as General Manager.

A native of Philadelphia with strong ties to Puerto Rico, Rios is excited to return to a tropical setting and bring his extensive experience in food and beverage operations to Miami Beach.
