PANAJI: Lithuanian drama movie ‘Poisonous’, written and directed by Saulė Bliuvaitė, gained the Golden Peacock on the fifty fifth Worldwide Movie Pageant of India in Goa on Thursday.

The movie was chosen by a jury led by famous Indian filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar from 15 movies from around the globe together with three Indian movies. The award carries a prize of 40 lakh.
