Palden Sherpa joins The St. Regis Goa Resort as a sous-chef.
The St. Regis Goa Resort has appointed Palden Sherpa as its sous chef. Palden is poised to contribute his creative approach and wealth of culinary knowledge to the kitchen at The St. Regis Goa Resort. He has worked in numerous elite hospitality establishments and has a rich culinary background.
Palden held this position before, having worked as a Junior Sous Chef at Marriott Hotels in Surat. There, he showed great leadership and culinary prowess, making a major contribution to menu development and kitchen operations.
Palden has worked as Chef de Partie at Accor in Ahmedabad and Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Bengaluru, among other restaurants. In these roles, he was in charge of supervising particular culinary areas and guaranteeing the highest caliber and presentation of food.
Additionally, he worked as a Demi Chef de Partie in Pune for KEYS Hotels (Beggruen Hotels Pvt. Ltd.) and Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he learned a lot about overseeing kitchen operations and improving guest dining experiences.
Palden furthered his culinary skills while working as Commi 1 at Accor in Bengaluru earlier in his career. He started his career in the culinary arts as a Commi at Nanking Chinese Restaurant, which laid the groundwork for his future in the hospitality sector.
