Ricky Kej’s Updated National Anthem Release
Grammy winner Ricky Kej debuted his updated National Anthem for public distribution ahead of the 78th Independence Day. Turning to Instagram, he posted the video of the song and said he felt privileged.
“I am honored to present my grand performance of India’s National Anthem (Bharat). Including a choir of 14000 tribal children and a 100-piece British orchestra, including great-famous Indian artists! Even now, we own a Guinness World Record: Polkish Please share, watch, and utilize, but with respect. Right now, it is yours, my little gift to every Indian anywhere.

Regarding the performance, Ricky Kej told ANI, “We pulled together the greatest classical musicians from both North and South India to produce a magnificent rendering of the national anthem…We set up 14,000 pupils for a music class, and in the end they sang four-part harmonies of the national anthem.”
“The national anthem was the first piece of music I ever learnt as a child,” he said, remembering how his parents instilled in him a feeling of patriotism.
Ricky Kej, who oversaw the music under London Philharmonic Orchestra, is included in the National Anthem. Among many other eminent performers are flute master Hariprasad Chaurasia, sarod maestros Aman and Ayaan Ali Khan, and santoor maestro Rahul Sharma.
