General Manager Aaron Slattery has been appointed to the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington.
Aaron Slattery has been promoted to general manager of the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington, according to a statement released today by Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation and a nationally renowned owner and management company. Slattery’s new position will see him in charge of the 256-room hotel that is close to the West Bloomington Business Corridor and the Mall of America. Upon the promotion of Jim Waldvogel to general manager of the recently acquired Loews Minneapolis Hotel—now known as The Lofton Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton—he takes over as general manager. The Lofton Hotel is partially owned and managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts.
Slattery has been employed at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington for the majority of his twenty years in the hospitality industry, where he most recently held the position of director of operations. Slattery established and implemented new operational standards and efficiencies throughout the property while holding this role, managing daily hotel operations in both the food and beverage and room departments. In order to enhance operations at multiple Marcus Hotels & Resorts locations and onboard new properties, he also functioned as a task force manager for food and beverage.
