Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan Reflect on Marriage Challenges

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, who are considered one of the best lovebirds in Bollywood, had in the distant past discussed their marriage, claiming that they quarrel every day. The couple tied the knot in 2007 and have a daughter.

Aaradhya Bachchan and the couple have never given any impression of disputes in their marriage. But rarely did the two public figures share their everyday arguments, as they did in an interview with Vogue India in 2010.

What is even more amusing is that during the interview, Aishwarya is frank enough to say that they quarrel every single day.
Abhishek, however, was reluctant to refer to these conflicts as major quarrels but rather as debates. He was keen to stress that these are not fights, and the differences are also constructive to avoid boredom in their relationship.

Abhishek also said that he is often the one who takes up the role of reconciliation when a couple is quarreling. He crackingly noted that the reason men sometimes say sorry is that they want to sleep and may not want to be angry when going to sleep. He also lauded women and said that they belong to the superior race; given any situation, a woman is always right, no matter if the man has actual evidence to the contrary.
