Alok Ojha has been appointed front office manager of the ITC WelcomHotel Ahmedabad.
ITC WelcomHotel Ahmedabad has named Alok Ojha as its new front office manager. Alok has been actively involved in front-of-house operations and guest relations at various properties throughout India for more than ten years.
Working in various Indian markets, including Udaipur and Kerala, has given Alok a better understanding of Indian hospitality culture and guest expectations. His varied background will be a valuable asset to the ITC WelcomHotel Ahmedabad, which is located in the center of the value-driven Ahmedabad market’s business district.
Alok managed guest relations at the Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse and IHG Kolkata before joining the ITC Hotels Group. He started his career in hospitality, holding positions like Senior Duty Manager at Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport and Duty Manager at Radisson Blu, Ludhiana.
After working as the front office manager at ITC Fortune Park Panchwati in Kolkata, Alok joined ITC WelcomHotel. He oversaw revenue projections and occupancy, monitored VIP guests, put hotel policies into practice, and made sure all guests were satisfied.
“During my time at ITC WelcomHotel, I am excited to continue providing outstanding guest experiences and adding to the hotel’s success story. Being employed in Ahmedabad, dubbed the “land of entrepreneurs,” excites me,” Alok remarked.
With a diploma in hospitality and travel management from the Finn Institute in Kolkata, Alok’s passion for working in the hospitality sector is complemented by his personal interests, which include painting and travelling.
