Amrit Jena has been appointed as the new Food and Beverage Manager at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) in Kolkata.
With a rich career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry, Amrit brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new position.
Career Journey
The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group: Before joining IHCL, Amrit served as Food and Beverage Manager at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group in Kolkata from July 2022 to May 2024. During his nearly two-year tenure, he managed on-site food and beverage operations and contributed significantly to the hospitality experience.
Radisson Hotel Group: Prior to The Lalit Suri Group, Amrit held the same position at Radisson Hotel Group in Ahmedabad from September 2021 to June 2022. His tenure here lasted ten months.
IHG Hotels & Resorts: Amrit’s career also includes a notable period at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), where he was the Food and Beverage Manager from January 2019 to September 2021 in Agra.
Radisson Blu Taj East Gate: From November 2016 to January 2019, Amrit worked as the Food and Beverage Manager at Radisson Blu Taj East Gate in Agra.
Educational Background
Amrit’s educational foundation in hotel management was laid at IHM Bhubaneswar, where he graduated in 2002. He completed his schooling at Kalyani Central Model School in Kalyani.
New Role at IHCL
In his new role at IHCL, Amrit is based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He has been with the company since May 2024 and is already making an impact with his skills in food and beverage operations and hospitality management. His extensive background equips him well for his responsibilities at IHCL, where he will continue to drive excellence in food and beverage services.
