Chef Kartik started working as the regional chef at Azure Hospitality. He will improve the dining experiences at all of Azure Hospitality’s many locations. A Bachelor of Hotel Administration from IHM Kufri in Shimla, India, was the beginning of Chef Kartik’s culinary career. His love for fine cuisine was stoked by his fundamental education at Delhi’s Mount Abu Public School. Chef Kartik began his professional journey as a Commis at Trident Bandra Kurla, Mumbai. He quickly advanced through the ranks, holding positions like as Junior Sous Chef, Sous Chef, and Chef De Partie at esteemed establishments including Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts Maldives and The Oberoi Hotels & Resorts India. His knowledge in a variety of culinary arts aspects has been enhanced by these encounters.
Chef Kartik was instrumental in the development of Pahli Hill, a restaurant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he most recently held the position of Executive Sous Chef. He oversaw the creation of a sizable a la carte menu, painstakingly organized the kitchen, and made sure that the cutlery and crockery selection met the highest standards. Leading a team of 17, Chef Kartik emphasised continuous training and development, streamlined kitchen operations, and maintained impeccable quality, consistency, and hygiene standards.
Chef Kartik’s dedication to guest service management is exceptional, creating tailor-made menus for special occasions and receiving accolades such as CEO of the Year 2018 and exceptional ratings in appraisals from 2016 to 2020. His collaborations with industry giants like Chef Pavinder Bali, Chef Sweety Singh, and Chef Osama Jalali highlight his commitment to preserving culinary heritage while pushing the boundaries of Indian cuisine with promotional menus and pop-ups.
As the Regional Chef for Azure’s specialty Indian restaurants, Chef Kartik will oversee pan-India operations and manage a team of more than 300 employees. His vast background in working with a variety of nationalities in fast-paced kitchen environments brings new ideas and creativity, which will enhance the dining experiences offered by Azure nationwide.
