New Delhi:
The Amazon Prime unique Bandish Bandits is returning with its second season. The makers introduced the information with a brand new poster on Wednesday. The poster options the lead characters Ritwik Bhowmik (Radhe) and Shreya Chaudhry (Tamanna) together with an ensemble forged. The caption learn, “The epic musical drama is again.” The second season of the present will stream from December 13. Sharing the information on his Instagram feed, Ritwik Bhowmik wrote, “DRUMROLLSSSSSSSSSS. your favourite Bandish Bandits are tuning in for a brand new season. #BandishBanditsOnPrime, Dec 13.” Have a look:
“The brand new season of this beloved musical drama continues its journey, artfully mixing the intricate ragas, talas, and bandishes of Indian classical music with the daring, electrifying beats of contemporary rock and pop, as our leads – Radhe and Tamanna, now face off in opposition to one another within the quest for acceptance and glory,” the streamer stated in a press launch.
“The narrative delves deeper into household legacy bringing in themes of individuality, empowerment, and the steadiness between previous and new to the forefront, as every character discovers and embraces their true self,” it added.
For the unversed, Bandish Bandits is a love story with excessive doses of classical and modern music. The collection revolves across the obvious contradictions between the traditional and the modern. The primary season has been directed by Anand Tiwari. He has co-written the collection alongside Atmika Didwania and Karan Singh Tyagi. The collection boasts of an ensemble forged that includes Naseeruddin Shah, Atul Kulkarni, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Kunaal Roy Kapur.
In his assessment for NDTV, movie critic Saibal Chatterjee wrote, “Created by director Anand Tiwari and Amritpal Singh Bindra, Bandish Bandits is a love story, household drama and tradition-meets-modernity musical rolled into one. The visuals that Jodhpur yields – DOP Sriram Ganapathy doesn’t go flawed – are luxurious. They create a canvas that’s markedly completely different from what OTT exhibits steeped in small-town milieus or gangland dimness normally produce.”
