Chef Manoj Rai, the new CEO, is heading Punjabi by Nature from the boardroom.

The new CEO of Punjabi by Nature is renowned chef Manoj Rai, with two decades of experience underlined in cuisine. Renowned for his creative flair, intense love of food, and sharp business sense, Chef Manoj has made amazing changes in the gastronomic scene from skilled chef to seasoned operations executive.

From a small Uttar Pradesh town, Chef Manoj’s journey has been nothing less than inspirational. Having attended IIAS, Goa, he progressed fast through the ranks to become one of the younger executive chefs at the five-star LEBUA in Delhi. He has worked with some of the top Delhi hotels and restaurants over the last 24 years, including Marriott Hotels, TGIF, Radisson, Jaypee, and Claridges.

Beginning as the Director of Food Production at Zerruco by Zilli, where he negotiated a partnership with Pan India Foods, overseeing more than thirty restaurants, his professional path saw him assume leadership posts. Most recently, he has been working on his cookbook, A Platter for the Genius, which stresses healthy living, and has been helping to open restaurants for a major UAE conglomerate.

Originally the Director of Food and Beverages at Anardana, where his strategic abilities and leadership were well appreciated, Chef Manoj started his journey from a hands-on chef to a management specialist. This resulted in his elevation to COO of Romeo Lane and Birch, and now he is positioned to bring his vast expertise and creative vision to the venerable brand as CEO of Punjabi by Nature.

Chef Manoj’s journey from the kitchen to the boardroom is evidence of his will to keep learning and his capacity to shine in many roles in the hotel and culinary sectors.
