Chef Wilson Dsouza has been appointed Executive Chef at the Swissôtel Al Ghurair, Dubai.
To his new position, Chef D’Souza brings more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality sector. D’Souza, who is originally from India, began his professional career in 2003 at the JW Marriott Mumbai. From there, he worked for international luxury hotel chains such as Marriott, IHG, Jumeirah, Leela, Kempinski, and Accor while traveling around the UK, India, and Dubai.
Expert in cooking and serving regional produce, he is renowned for going above and beyond in support of sustainability campaigns and educating guests about the benefits of adopting a plant-based diet.
D’Souza oversaw Adagio Premium The Palm’s pre-opening project in his prior position. He also had a fruitful consulting engagement with Be Unique Hospitality in 2016, where he oversaw the menu engineering, oversaw the design of the establishment, planned the table settings and presentation, and kept an eye on expenses.
