At the St. Regis Abu Dhabi, Evelyn Nguyen Van has been named as the new Director of Groups & Events.
Nguyen Van Schwarcz is skilled in business development, corporate engagement, and event management, having worked in the hotel and event industries for more than 11 years.
She demonstrated her ability to spur growth and improve profitability during her successful tenure as Head of Sales for Groups & Events at Zaya Nurai Island, where she raised yearly revenue by an average of 37%. She was head of event sales & marketing at Pixoul Gaming & Adrenark Adventure prior to joining the staff at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi.

Her noteworthy accomplishments include signing contracts for corporate events with eminent companies like Johnson & Johnson, White & Case, Mercedes-Benz, and Make Up for Ever. She was also very good at budgeting, yielding group business, monthly forecasting, coordinating internal revenue expectations, and managing teams.
Nguyen Van Schwarcz has an impressive academic background. She holds a marketing certification from the City University of Seattle, a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the same university, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide… Her multilingual abilities, which include fluency in Slovak, Hungarian, and English, have further improved her capacity for effective communication in a variety of multicultural settings.
