A number of opposition leaders walked out of the assembly of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Waqf (Modification) Invoice on Monday, to register their protest towards the presentation made by the Delhi Waqf Board.
The members who staged the walkout mentioned the administrator of the Delhi Waqf Board, who had appeared earlier than the panel, made modifications to the presentation with out the information of the Delhi authorities.
