Samarth Agarwal has joined Fortune Hotels as Head of Development.

New Delhi, July 1, 2024: Fortune Hotels, a member of ITC’s hotel group, is happy to announce the appointment of Samarth Agarwal as the Head of Development. With over 20 years of extensive experience in hospitality business development, investments, and consulting, Samarth is poised to lead Fortune Hotels into its next phase of growth.

He has had stints in equity research, specializing in the Gaming and Lodging industry in the USA. He then transitioned to hotel and real estate consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, where he provided strategic advice to leading hotel companies, owners, and developers. Following this, Samarth joined InterGlobe Hotels, a joint venture between Accor Hotels and InterGlobe Enterprises, where he worked on the buy-side of hotel investment. In his most recent role, he led the Asset Light (management contracts) growth strategy for Lemon Tree Hotels across India, successfully executing over 50 contracts within just three years, demonstrating his ability to drive rapid and sustainable growth.

In his new role as Head of Development at Fortune Park Hotels Limited, Samarth will be instrumental in expanding the network of Fortune-branded hotels across India. Based in Gurgaon, he will oversee strategic growth initiatives, forge key partnerships, and lead new developments.
