Launched in India, the Tata Curvv EV Price Rs. 17.49 lakh

Tata Motors has introduced the Tata Curvv EV to the Indian market, with an ex-showroom starting price of Rs. 17.49 lakh. Additionally, reservations for the coupe SUV will open on August 12, 2024, and the top-spec long-range version will set you back Rs. 21.99 lakh.Similar to the Curvv ICE, the EV’s exterior is bold and characteristic of Tata’s design language. Its futuristic appeal is further enhanced by the bold grille and sleek LED headlights that adorn its fascia. Its sporty appearance is attributed to a coupe-like silhouette, and its distinctive alloy wheels further enhance its allure. Sleek LED tail lights that cover the entire width of the car are located at the back.

The interior’s elegant dashboard makes the minimalistic design approach evident with its large touchscreen infotainment system, that includes the newest connectivity options. The multifunction steering wheel adds convenience, and a digital instrument cluster gives all the information that is needed at a glance. An electric parking brake, a wireless charger, an electrically adjustable driver seat, a powered tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, and an engine start-stop button are among the additional features. It has six airbags, ESP, auto-hold, all-disc brakes, and level 2 ADAS as safety features.

Details of the Tata Curvv EV’s powertrain and battery pack

Like other Tata electric vehicles, there are standard and long-range versions of the Tata Curvv EV. A 45-kWh battery pack with a 502 km (ARAI) range is included with the standard variant. The higher-end Curvv EV models, however, come with a larger 55-kWh battery pack. The ARAI claims a 585 km range for it. In addition, the Tata Curvv EV is powered by the Acti.ev platform, and the latest battery pack generation is optimized for ultra-fast charging. In just fifteen minutes, 150 km can be added after DC charging.
