The Mahayuti authorities in Maharashtra headed by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis inducted 39 ministers, together with 18 MLAs as first timers, from allies Shiv Sena and the NCP. This takes the cupboard energy to 42, towards the utmost restrict of 43 ministers.

Deputy chief minister and NCP chief Ajit Pawar stated MLAs omitted of the cupboard may also get an opportunity to function ministers within the new authorities.
