The state suspended cell web companies on November 16 for 2 days to stop anti-social components from spreading content material that may create regulation and order issues amid escalation in violence following the restoration of our bodies of three ladies and three youngsters,

“The state authorities after reviewing the prevailing regulation and order state of affairs has determined to proceed suspension of cell web companies and cell information companies together with VSATs and VPN companies within the territorial jurisdiction of Imphal West, Imphal East, Bishnupur, Thoubal, Kakching, Kangpokpi, Churachandpur, Jiribam and Pherzawl of Manipur for one more two days,” the order on Monday by house division commissioner N Ashok Kumar stated.

The suspension of cell web and cell information companies will proceed until 5.15pm on November 27, the order added.

The web ban was initially enforced in seven districts on November 16 and later prolonged to Jiribam and Pherzawl districts as effectively.
