The ultimate journey of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will start at 9:30 am on Saturday, December 30, from the headquarters of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), get together Normal Secretary KC Venugopal confirmed on Friday.
Singh, who handed away on Thursday evening on the age of 92, will probably be honoured by the general public earlier than his final rites.

A Congress Working Committee assembly will probably be held immediately on the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters in New Delhi to pay homage to Manmohan Singh.
The assembly will convene at 5.30 pm immediately on the AICC headquarters, stated Congress Normal Secretary KC Venugopal.
“A Congress Working Committee assembly comprising the CWC Members, Everlasting & Particular Invitees is being convened at 5.30 pm immediately in AICC HQ to pay homage to the previous Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh ji,” KC Venugopal posted on X.
Manmohan Singh, broadly recognised because the architect of India’s financial reforms and a key consensus builder, died on the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on Thursday on the age of 92.
He had been admitted to the hospital in essential situation and handed away at round 8:30 pm.
