Transport & Setting Minister of Delhi and senior Aam Aadmi Occasion (AAP) chief Kailash Gahlot on Sunday resigned from the celebration’s main membership. His resignation has been accepted by Delhi CM Atishi.
Gahlot in his resignation letter addressed to AAP’s Nationwide Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi had cited unfulfilled guarantees and up to date controversies as causes for stepping down.
Reacting to Gahlot’s resignation, AAP’s Rayja Sabha MP Sanjay Singh hit out at BJP and accused the oppositioin of taking part in soiled politics. He stated, as quoted by ANI, “Kailash Gahlot’s resignation is part of BJP’s soiled politics and conspiracy. BJP govt performed ED raids on him. Revenue Tax raids have been performed at his residence for a number of days. BJP put an allegation of ₹112 crores on him. Strain was created on him because of which Kailash Gahlot needed to take this step. He didn’t have any choice aside from becoming a member of BJP.”
He added, “Kailash Gahlot’s resignation is part of BJP’s soiled politics and controversy. Kailash Gahlot was being pressured via ED-CBI raids and he’s talking as per the BJP’s script. The Modi Washing Machine has been activated forward of Delhi elections. Now many leaders can be taken into BJP via this.”
AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar stated, “Two of their (BJP) massive leaders are becoming a member of us right this moment. Since there are elections, all it will hold taking place.”
She added, “Elections are underway and the conspiracies of BJP have began. ED and CBI have been activated, There have been a number of instances of ED and CBI on Kailash Gahlot and his household.
