The Congress on Wednesday congratulated Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who received the US presidential elections in 2024.

“On the behalf of the Indian Nationwide Congress, we prolong our congratulations and greatest needs to President @realDonaldTrump for his election victory. India and the USA share a strong complete international strategic partnership, underpinned by long-standing shared democratic values, aligned pursuits, and intensive people-to-people connections,” Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge posted on X.
“We stay up for working carefully with the USA for international peace and prosperity,” the Congress chief added.
Earlier, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor mentioned that Trump’s victory within the US elections “will not imply many surprises” for India. “It appears as if he (Donald Trump) is coming again. I believe the official declaration is imminent…The reality is that we have had the expertise of Mr Trump as president for 4 years already, so there should not be too many surprises. We all know that he is a really transactional chief,” the previous Union minister instructed ANI.
PM Modi congratulates Trump
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Donald Trump on his election victory, saying,”Heartiest congratulations my pal @realDonaldTrump in your historic election victory. Donald Trump received the White Home race, defeating Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris. With a win in Wisconsin, Trump cleared the 270 electoral votes wanted to clinch the presidency.
“We’ve been by a lot collectively, and right this moment you confirmed up in document numbers to ship a victory,” Trump instructed throngs of his cheering supporters in Florida.
His win towards Harris, the primary lady of color to steer a serious social gathering ticket, marks the second time he has defeated a feminine rival in a basic election.
