The continuing Raj Kapoor Movie Pageant, marking the a hundredth start anniversary of the legendary actor and filmmaker, will get an extension on account of rising public demand. On Sunday, The Movie Heritage Basis (FHF) introduced that the celebration of the start centenary of Raj Kapoor will proceed until December 19. The occasion was initially imagined to be a three-day affair, starting a day earlier than Raj Kapoor’s a hundredth start anniversary on December 14. It was beforehand scheduled to finish on December 15.
“Prolonged on account of public demand! ‘Raj Kapoor 100 – Celebrating the Centenary of the Biggest Showman’ will now proceed until December 19, 2024!” the FHF posted on X (previously Twitter).

The occasion was first introduced by Raj Kapoor’s grandson Ranbir Kapoor on the Worldwide Movie Pageant of India (IFFI) in Goa final month.
