The Kochi Marriott Hotel has appointed Sachin Malhotra as its new general manager.
Sachin has a distinguished career spanning more than 24 years in the hospitality sector. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a solid track record in all facets of relationship management and hotel operations.
Throughout his long career, Sachin has held executive positions at resorts and city business hotels. Sachin, who has prospered in both developed and emerging markets, is well-known for his strong expertise in food and beverage, event planning, revenue management, and asset upkeep. His key skills and competencies include being an innovator and design thinker, a self-starter with entrepreneurial leadership, and having the ability to think laterally to create options and solutions.
Before joining Kochi Marriott Hotel, Sachin Malhotra Malhotra served as the General Manager at Fairfield by Marriott Lucknow since 2021. Prior to this, he held leadership roles at renowned hotel brands such as Accor, Leela, and Hyatt. Sachin, an IHM Lucknow alumnus, also holds a postgraduate diploma in business administration from Symbiosis.
Sachin’s professional journey is richly complemented by his fulfilling personal life. He is married to Sheeba and is a proud father to a daughter. Sachin deeply values spending quality time with his family, who provide him with unwavering inspiration and support.
