With an impressive 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Surendran brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role, promising to further elevate the hotel’s market presence and drive revenue growth.
Before joining The Westin Chennai Velachery, Surendran held significant roles at some of Chennai’s most esteemed hotels, including Courtyard by Marriott Chennai, Hyatt Regency Chennai, and The Residency Towers. His career is marked by notable achievements, including being part of a top management team that consistently exceeded budgeted GOP from 2021 to 2023 across South Asia, particularly excelling in revenue management.
Surendran is an alumnus of the American Hotels Lodging Association and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Annamalai University. Known for his energetic leadership and affable personality, he is deeply passionate about people development and fostering positive workplace relationships.
