Vivek Kumar takes over as the division manager of the rooms at Karma Lakelands in Gurugram.
Recently, Vivek Kumar took over as the Manager of the Rooms Division at Karma Lakelands in Gurugram. He had previously worked at the same location as the executive housekeeper, where he made a substantial contribution to upholding strict standards of hygiene and visitor satisfaction.
Vivek’s previous positions as Housekeeping Manager at the Hyatt Centric Janakpuri New Delhi and at the Absolute Hotel Services-managed Eastin Easy Talegaon Pune attest to his vast experience in the hospitality sector. His experience also includes working as the Executive Housekeeper at Howard Plaza, The Fern Agra, and U Rivergate Karjat Mumbai, a posh retreat and spa run by Absolute Hotel Services.
Prior to the Courtyard by Marriott Agra’s opening, Vivek worked as a housekeeping executive while a member of the Manager Development Program. In addition, he worked as a housekeeping executive in Puri and as a management trainee for Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited in Ooty. He also held the role of team leader at the Radisson Blu Agra. He received industrial training at the Inder Residency in Udaipur before starting his career in hospitality.
From the Heritage Institute of Hotel and Tourism, Vivek received a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology, and Tourism.
