Brigade Hospitality, Bengaluru, Assigns General Manager Arvind K. Sharma to Lead

Arvind K. Sharma has joined Brigade Hospitality in Bengaluru as general manager. Arvind will oversee all operations in this role, guaranteeing top-notch guest services and property management.

Prior to joining Brigade Hospitality, Arvind worked as a resort manager for Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited in Shimla, Virajpet, and Madikeri, where he acquired a wealth of experience. In overseeing these resorts, he showed great leadership and operational know-how.

Arvind has also occupied significant roles in the food and beverage sector throughout his career. He was the Executive Chef at Ista Hotels and, before that, the Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) for Food and Beverage at the Hyatt Amritsar. His leadership in the kitchen was demonstrated during his tenure as executive chef at Radisson Hotels.

As a chef de cuisine, Arvind started his culinary career at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi. Working as a Junior Sous Chef at the Grand Hyatt and Senior Chef de Partie at the Hyatt Regency in Dubai, he further refined his talents abroad. In his early career, he held positions as a Demi Chef de Partie at Pyramids in Dubai, Chef de Partie at the Metropolitan Hotel Dubai, and The Ambassador’s Skychef in Mumbai.

In Kolkata, Arvind began his career as an industrial trainee for The Oberoi Group, laying the groundwork for his storied career in hospitality.

From the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition in New Delhi, he graduated with a diploma. He also holds a Bachelor of Science from Calcutta University in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Lajpat Hindi High School was where Arvind finished his education.

Arvind K. Sharma, who recently joined Brigade Hospitality in Bengaluru, brings a wealth of experience to his new position. He has a strong background in culinary arts and hospitality management.
