The Ritz-Carlton Pune is excited to announce Sandip Nalawade as their new Director of Engineering. With 20 years of experience in hotel engineering, Sandip is a seasoned leader skilled in meeting the technical needs of luxury hotels, apartments, and commercial properties.
Previously, Sandip was the Chief Engineer at Hilton Mumbai International Airport. There, he led a team of 27 professionals, introduced energy-saving initiatives, and helped the hotel navigate the challenges of the pandemic. His expertise in HVAC, electrical engineering, plumbing, and systems management greatly improved operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Throughout his career, Sandip has excelled in finding ways to reduce energy, time, and resource waste. His achievements include conducting energy audits, implementing environmental management systems, and overseeing mechanical systems. He is also known for fostering employee engagement and building strong, high-performing teams.
At The Ritz-Carlton Pune, Sandip will oversee all engineering operations. His responsibilities include ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability, managing and training the engineering team, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and leading projects to enhance the hotel’s infrastructure and guest experience. Sandip’s commitment to excellence and innovative approach to engineering will be key to the hotel’s ongoing success.
