Motivated by a desire to explore new opportunities, Lav transitioned into the hospitality sector, enrolling at the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai. Lav’s entry into the industry began as a Management Trainee at The Claridges, where he was introduced to the intricacies of luxury hotel operations. As General Manager – Operations at Shiv Vilas, Jaipur, a heritage luxury property, he was responsible for overseeing all operational aspects while ensuring the property’s reputation for grandeur and authenticity remained intact. His leadership there reinforced his ability to manage complex functions and maintain a focus on high-quality service.

Following this, Lav served as Vice President at Tivoli Grand, a key venue in North India’s hospitality and event management landscape. In this role, he was instrumental in streamlining operations and enhancing the guest experience, while also curating large-scale events that reflected the venue’s brand values. His experience at Tivoli allowed him to hone his skills in event management, operational efficiency, and client relations, cementing his reputation as a strategic leader in hospitality.

Entrepreneurial Ventures and Innovation

In addition to his leadership roles in established hospitality settings, Lav took a bold step into entrepreneurship by co-founding Cafe Ludus, a nightclub-cum-restaurant in South Delhi. Currently, Lav serves as the Vice President at Botanix, a nature-focused resort located in Sohna, Haryana. Lav’s role involves overseeing operations, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering growth, with a particular focus on offering guests an immersive experience that blends luxury with nature.
