With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Udayan Damodharan brings his extensive knowledge to Novotel Goa Resort & Spa and Novotel Goa Candolim. Having spent 14 years with Accor, Udayan is poised to elevate talent acquisition, employee engagement, and leadership development at both properties.
In his new role, Udayan will focus on fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. He plans to attract and retain top talent, develop comprehensive training platforms, and implement initiatives that enhance the quality of life for the property’s workforce.
Udayan is committed to creating an environment where staff can thrive and participate in Accor’s development programs. He aims to build a diverse workforce by collaborating with training institutions, partnering with hotel schools, and using social media for active recruitment.
Udayan’s experience includes pre-opening and successfully launching several properties across India, including Accor’s Grand Mercure Bangalore and Novotel Kolkata. He is also dedicated to social responsibility, encouraging hotel staff to engage in CSR initiatives.

Udayan’s journey into the hospitality industry began after earning his diploma in Personnel Management. Despite initially knowing little about the industry, he found the fast-paced world of hotels exciting and has been a part of it ever since.
