Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui (Thailand), elevated Ms. Branka Novakovic as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.

With over 13 years of experience in food and beverage operations, Ms. Novakovic has demonstrated her excellence in a number of prestigious settings. Her most recent role was at the Four Seasons Koh Samui Resort as Director of Restaurants & Bar.

She developed her abilities and knowledge in a number of well-known places before this, such as the Opera Restaurant in Novi Sad, Serbia, the Regent Porto Montenegro, the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Hura, and Aman Sveti Stefan Montenegro. Branka was raised in Serbia and was born in Croatia, two of the most popular travel destinations in Eastern Europe. She has an advantage in this position due to her natural sense of hospitality and her impressive résumé of more than ten years of experience.

Ms. Branka spent her summers interning at different restaurants on the Greek islands of Rhodes and Kos while earning her bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Novi Sad University in Serbia. Possessing extensive knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine, she made the decision to relocate to the United States and started working at the Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, where she improved both her English language and catering abilities.

After moving back home in 2012, Branka started her fine dining career as the food and beverage supervisor at the gorgeous Aman Sveti Stefan in Montenegro. After joining the pre-opening team at the stunning seaside Regent Porto Montenegro, Branka advanced fast to the role of restaurant manager. She oversaw a staff of twenty and collaborated closely with the head sommelier and executive chef to plan banqueting events and create special menus for private gatherings. The Regent group sent Branka to support the pre-opening team in Chongqing, China, after realizing her contribution to the opening’s success.

Swapping her business suits for more breezy attire, Branka effortlessly arrived at Four Seasons in the Maldives at Kuda Huraa. Since she was brought into the budget planning and marketing discussions with the different departments, she has developed a multifaceted approach to her role and sharpened her business acumen. She takes the lead with style, saying, “I believe in delivering all-round dining excellence,” while welcoming new experiences and cultures. Branka loves her hobbies as much as her work, so she frequents cafes, restaurants, and bars in her free time. “I enjoy learning about the local way of life; it is crucial to stay informed about events occurring in your destination. In the end, this dictates what our visitors can anticipate!”
