BETHESDA, May 20, 2026: Marriott International has launched the Design Shop through its Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques platform, releasing hotel-inspired home collections that move the company's retail business beyond bedding and bath products into furniture, lighting, décor, rugs and art drawn from its hotel brand identities.

The launch marks a deliberate expansion of Marriott's consumer lifestyle ambitions, aiming to bring the design language of its properties into residential spaces through a dedicated e-commerce platform. The inaugural offering centres on two of the company's best-known upper-upscale brands: W Hotels and Westin Hotels & Resorts.

W Hotels Living collection designed with Rockwell Group

The W Hotels Living collection was developed in collaboration with the Rockwell Group, drawing its aesthetic directly from the redesigned W New York – Union Square. The range includes modern beds, upholstered benches, nightstands, rugs, lighting and decorative accessories that reflect W Hotels' bold, contemporary design character.

The Rockwell Group partnership signals that Marriott is positioning the Design Shop as a credible interior design offering rather than a branded merchandise exercise. Rockwell Group has a long history of designing high-profile hotel and hospitality interiors, lending design authority to the collection.

Westin collection brings wellness philosophy home

The Westin Hotels & Resorts Living collection takes a different approach, translating the brand's established wellness and sleep-focused hospitality philosophy into residential furnishings. The range uses natural materials and a calm, restorative palette, offering sleep-oriented products and interiors designed to replicate the sense of ease associated with a Westin stay.

Westin's brand identity has long centred on guest wellbeing, and the home collection extends that positioning into a segment, wellness-driven interior design, that has seen sustained consumer interest in the years following the pandemic.

French Riviera and JW Marriott collections coming later in 2026

Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques plans to introduce a French Riviera-themed destination collection in June 2026, featuring home entertaining items including trays, linens, vases and wine goblets inspired by coastal European living. The assortment brings a travel-inspired dimension to the platform, distinct from the brand-led approach of the W Hotels and Westin lines.

A JW Marriott Living collection, inspired by the JW Marriott Hotel Tokyo, is also expected to follow later in the year, extending the Design Shop's brand range into the company's luxury segment.

Marriott frames move as a response to shifting consumer behaviour

Peggy Roe, who oversees Marriott's loyalty and customer experience strategy, said the initiative reflects changing consumer behaviour, with hotel aesthetics increasingly influencing how people approach their home environments. The Design Shop positions Marriott to capture revenue from guests who have developed a preference for the design choices they encounter during hotel stays and want to replicate them at home.

The platform is accessible through Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques online. The company did not disclose pricing tiers for individual collections at the time of the announcement.
