The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort, Vail announces the appointment of Tracy Stoltz as general manager, bringing more than two decades of global hospitality experience to Vail’s luxury alpine retreat. A distinguished industry leader, Stoltz joins The Hythe with a dynamic vision to enhance the guest experience and further position the resort as the region’s foremost destination for mountain luxury.
Hailing from her tenure at world-renowned resorts across the U.S. and Caribbean, Stoltz brings the luxury acumen and operational finesse of a seasoned hospitality leader. Most recently, as general manager of the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel, she oversaw large-scale property operations, including high-profile events tied to the Super Bowl and Final Four. Stoltz previously held leadership positions at prominent Hawaiian resorts including The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort; Sheraton Waikiki; The Westin Maui Resort & Spa; The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas; and Sheraton Maui Resort, consistently elevating service standards, strengthening team culture, and enhancing guest experiences.
Stoltz also played a pivotal role in shaping boutique Caribbean hospitality, supporting the international positioning of Point Grace in Turks and Caicos and directing a multi-million-dollar development initiative at Grand Isle Resort and Spa in the Bahamas. A Colorado native, Stoltz began her hospitality career at Keystone Resort and now returns to the Rocky Mountains, bringing both deep industry insight and a personal connection to the region.
