About Chef Ashish Kumar


Chef Ashish joins the team with extensive international experience, having held leadership positions in renowned luxury hotel chains across the UAE and India. Known for his innovative approach to Mediterranean and continental cuisines, Ashish’s culinary journey has been marked by an unwavering commitment to food quality, team development, and operational excellence.

Most recently, Ashish served as Head Chef at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation PJSC in Abu Dhabi, where he was responsible for overseeing costing, plating, and menu innovation across three high-end outlets. His leadership in ensuring exceptional dining experiences contributed to Rotana’s consistent recognition for culinary excellence.

A Diverse and Accomplished Career


Prior to his tenure at Rotana, Chef Ashish was Chef de Cuisine at Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi, where he led kitchen operations with a focus on Mediterranean and continental cuisines. His early career laid the foundation for his expertise, having worked with prestigious brands like Marriott International and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. Over the years, he has cultivated a deep understanding of kitchen management, food safety, and plating techniques.

Chef Ashish has also held key roles at Hilton Hotels and several independent restaurants in both India and the UAE, further honing his culinary craft and team management skills.
