Crown & Champa Resorts (CCR), one of the leading hospitality groups in the Maldives, has announced the appointment of Vijaya Kumar as the Group Director of Finance. A Certified Management Accountant (Australia) with over three decades of diverse industry experience, Vijaya brings a wealth of expertise in financial management, auditing, and strategic planning to the CCR executive team.
Vijaya holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business and Mass Communication. Over the past 32 years, he has built a distinguished career spanning multiple sectors including auditing, transport, and hospitality. His journey with CCR began in 2001, and he has since held numerous leadership roles within the group’s resorts, demonstrating unwavering commitment to excellence and integrity.
In addition to his previous tenure with CCR, Vijaya has held senior financial roles in globally recognized hospitality brands including Hilton, Six Senses (IHG), and Tsogo Sun, managing complex financial operations in markets such as India, the Maldives, Seychelles, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.
