GEWAN Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Moutaz Nazzal as its new Group Director of Hotel Operations, reinforcing the luxury hospitality brand’s commitment to operational excellence and consistent service delivery across its growing portfolio.

With over two decades of experience in hospitality management, Moutaz Nazzal brings strong expertise in operational leadership, quality assurance, and performance optimisation. He is widely recognised for building collaborative workplace cultures that enhance both guest satisfaction and team engagement, making him a valuable addition to GEWAN’s senior leadership team.

Prior to joining GEWAN Hotels and Resorts, Nazzal held senior leadership positions within the National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H Group). Most recently, he served as General Manager at Capital Suite Hotel Apartments, where he successfully oversaw day-to-day operations, strengthened operational efficiencies, and ensured consistently high standards of guest service.

In his new role as Group Director of Hotel Operations, Nazzal will provide strategic leadership across all GEWAN properties. His responsibilities will include developing and implementing unified operational standards, enhancing guest experience frameworks, and strengthening quality control systems to ensure consistency across the portfolio.

He will also work closely with the executive leadership team to align hotel operations with GEWAN’s corporate objectives, supporting sustainable growth while delivering world-class hospitality experiences across all properties.
