Grand Hyatt Mumbai has announced the promotion of Anirban Sarkar to Food and Beverage Manager, effective October 1, 2025. This advancement recognizes his commitment to operational discipline, talent development, and elevating guest experience within one of Mumbai’s flagship luxury hospitality destinations.
Anirban joined Grand Hyatt Mumbai in August 2024, bringing with him a strong operational foundation and a passion for service excellence. Over the past year, he has successfully strengthened the Food & Beverage function through meticulous planning, efficient process execution, and continuous improvement strategies. His leadership has played a significant role in enhancing service delivery, improving operational efficiencies, and ensuring consistency in guest experience across the property’s restaurants, lounges, bars, and event spaces.
With this promotion, Anirban will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of the Food & Beverage division at Grand Hyatt Mumbai. His responsibilities will extend across all dining venues, banqueting operations, bars, guest experience initiatives, and professional development programs for team members. His priorities will include refining quality standards, enhancing colleague capabilities, driving innovation in dining concepts, and shaping experiences reflective of evolving guest expectations and brand identity.
