IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to expand its presence in Central London with the exciting launch of two new dual-branded hotels: voco London – Waterloo and Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo. Scheduled for opening in 2028, these properties will mark a significant milestone in IHG’s commitment to enhancing its portfolio in one of the world’s most vibrant and dynamic cities. The voco brand will offer a unique blend of boutique charm and global reliability, while Hotel Indigo & Suites will provide a personalized and immersive experience reflecting the local culture and neighborhood character, strengthening IHG’s luxury and lifestyle offerings in the heart of London.

IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global hospitality leader, is poised to strengthen its presence in Central London with the signing of a dual-branded hotel development: voco London – Waterloo and Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo. This partnership with Palm Holdings marks a notable milestone for IHG, further cementing its commitment to expanding in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.

Set to open in the final quarter of 2028, voco London – Waterloo will offer 182 rooms and join IHG’s growing premium portfolio. The voco brand is renowned for blending boutique charm with the reliability and consistency of a globally recognized hotel group, ensuring guests enjoy a unique and memorable stay. Each voco property stands out for its distinctive style, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.

Alongside the voco property, this development will also introduce the first Hotel Indigo & Suites property in Europe. Slated for completion in late 2028, Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo will feature 172 rooms and suites, adding to IHG’s expanding luxury and lifestyle portfolio. As the second-largest hotel brand worldwide, Hotel Indigo is known for offering guests a personalized, boutique experience that reflects the local character and culture of the neighborhood.

Both hotels will share a variety of high-end amenities, including restaurants, bars, cafés, a fitness center, and a business center, catering to the needs of both leisure and business travelers.

Ideally situated in the heart of London’s bustling Waterloo area, the hotels will place guests within easy reach of some of the city’s most renowned landmarks, such as the Southbank, which is home to the Royal Festival Hall, the London Eye, the London Aquarium, and the National Theatre. Just across the road lies the Imperial War Museum, while the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben are a short distance away, enriching the area’s cultural allure. voco London – Waterloo is set to join the expanding collection of 16 established voco properties, following the recent additions of voco Zeal Exeter Science Park, voco Southampton, and voco Fareham – Solent. At the same time, Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo will enhance IHG’s portfolio, which currently includes 19 open Hotel Indigo locations. Exciting new developments are also on the horizon, with Hotel Indigo London – Clerkenwell and Hotel Indigo Leeds expected to open soon.
