LOT Polish Airlines Launches Direct Warsaw–San Francisco Flights Starting May 2026

In a major development for transatlantic travel, LOT Polish Airlines has announced the launch of a new direct flight route connecting Warsaw and San Francisco, beginning May 6, 2026. The new route will operate four times per week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Passengers will depart from Warsaw at 11:15 AM on Thursdays and Sundays and at 5:40 PM on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The return flights from San Francisco are scheduled to depart at 3:50 PM and 10:15 AM, depending on the day. Each journey will be operated by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, known for its fuel efficiency and enhanced onboard comfort, with a flight duration of approximately 11.5 hours.
