At the opening ceremony, guests – including dealers such as SUBA and Trufrost, customers such as Meghna and Bheema’s Biryani, and representatives from SODEXO and the Karnataka Hotel Association – were able to experience what caterers can expect at RATIONAL’s new training centre: At the heart of the celebrations was the live cooking show, where RATIONAL chefs demonstrated the power and intelligent features of the iCombi Pro and iVario Pro cooking systems and the ConnectedCooking digital kitchen management system. Dishes cooked included chicken tikka, mysore pak and mutton curry. The fact that RATIONAL now has a platform in the south of the country, in addition to the Delhi office, is a significant step: “The location of the new training centre is ideal – this is a long-awaited start for many companies in southern India,” said Ignatius John of the Peacock Group, who officially opened the new premises. “We are delighted to be able to better reach out to caterers in the region and help them make their work in catering and commercial kitchens easier and more efficient,” says Vishal Raman, Managing Director RATIONAL India.
