Sakthitharan R Appointed General Manager at Tamara Leisure Experiences Pvt. Ltd.

Tamara Leisure Experiences Pvt. Ltd. has announced the appointment of Sakthitharan R as General Manager, where he will lead operations at The Tamara Coorg.

With over a decade of leadership experience in luxury hospitality, Sakthitharan brings strong operational expertise, a deep understanding of guest experience excellence, and strategic management capabilities to his new role. His appointment reflects a continued journey of leadership progression within the Tamara group.

Prior to this elevation, Sakthitharan served as Executive Assistant Manager and Food & Beverage Manager within the Tamara portfolio. During this tenure, he played a pivotal role in driving service standards, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing guest satisfaction across the brand’s premium resort properties in Coorg and Kodaikanal.

Before joining Tamara Leisure Experiences, Sakthitharan spent nearly eight years with Taj Hotels, where he held diverse leadership roles including Restaurant Manager, Sommelier, and Food & Beverage Manager. His assignments spanned prestigious properties such as Taj MG Road Bengaluru, Taj Coromandel Chennai, and Taj Bekal Resort & Spa.

His early professional journey also includes leadership roles at Omar Shariff Authentic Indian Cuisine Restaurant in Singapore and ITC Hotels. Across these experiences, he honed his expertise in guest relations, service innovation, fine dining operations, and people leadership.

With a proven track record in hospitality excellence and team development, Sakthitharan R is poised to further elevate The Tamara Coorg experience, strengthening its position as a benchmark for luxury, personalised service, and refined guest experiences.
