Sayaji Hotels Expands National Footprint with Six New Properties Across India
Sayaji Hotels signs six new properties across India as part of its nationwide expansion, strengthening presence in key Tier 2 and 3 hospitality markets
Sayaji Hotels, one of India’s most recognised hospitality brands known for its signature “Yours Truly” service philosophy, has announced a major expansion as part of its long-term strategy to strengthen its presence across the country. Earlier this year, the group unveiled a comprehensive growth vision aimed at elevating guest experiences, enhancing operational excellence, and redefining hospitality standards in emerging markets.
Six New Properties Signed Across Key Growth Markets
Under this strategic expansion plan, Sayaji Hotels has signed six new properties located in prominent Tier 2 and Tier 3 destinations — Mandav and Kanha in Madhya Pradesh, Baramati in Maharashtra, Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, and Bhavnagar and Junagadh in Gujarat.
These new additions reflect the brand’s growing focus on catering to India’s vibrant domestic travel segment, which continues to surge due to increased leisure exploration, business mobility, and cultural tourism. Each property has been strategically selected to offer travellers a seamless blend of regional authenticity, modern comfort, and the signature personalised service that defines the Sayaji experience.
Strengthening Presence Across India
Sayaji Hotels’ expansion aligns with the evolving preferences of Indian travellers, who increasingly seek meaningful, immersive, and culturally rooted stays beyond traditional metropolitan destinations. The brand aims to position these properties as gateways to unexplored regional charm and unique local experiences.
The group’s renewed investment in emerging markets also reflects its confidence in the growing potential of secondary cities, which are witnessing rapid development, improved connectivity, and rising demand for quality hospitality infrastructure.
Leadership Perspective
Speaking about the expansion, Sumera Dhanani, Corporate Head – Business Development, Sayaji Hotels, said:
“For a long time, hospitality in India was centred around metro cities and established tourist destinations, while Tier 2 and 3 markets were often seen as secondary. That perception is changing rapidly. With better connectivity, growing local economies, and evolving traveller expectations, these cities are now becoming vibrant hospitality hubs.”
She added, “They offer guests culturally rich, authentic experiences that go beyond the conventional metropolitan stay — and that’s exactly where Sayaji sees tremendous potential. We are expected to add another 2,000-plus keys in the next six months.”
With its strategic growth momentum and focus on culturally immersive hospitality, Sayaji Hotels continues to strengthen its position as a leading homegrown brand shaping India’s hotel landscape.
