Prior to joining The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort, Manuel Levonian held senior leadership roles with leading global hospitality brands including IHG Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Legacy, and Accor Hotels. During his tenure in Oman, he became one of the country’s longest-serving General Managers, reflecting his operational consistency, strategic foresight, and people-focused leadership.

Under his leadership at previous properties, Levonian successfully delivered record STR performance, sustained market share growth, and exceptional colleague engagement scores. He also led the introduction of award-winning dining concepts, major capital improvement initiatives, and sustainability-driven programmes that positioned his hotels as benchmarks for innovation and excellence.

Academically accomplished, Manuel holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of East London and a Bachelor of Arts in International Hospitality Business Management from the University of Derby. His leadership philosophy combines financial discipline, brand stewardship, and a strong service culture, earning him industry recognition including Oman’s Best General Manager, GCC’s Best General Manager, and inclusion on the GM Power List.
