The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas proudly announces the appointment of Chris Lee as General Manager. With an extensive background in luxury hospitality and a proven record of leadership excellence, Lee brings a wealth of experience to his new role at the Forbes Five Star property.
Lee’s hospitality journey began in 2006 in the Rooms Division at Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole. He later advanced into executive roles at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, and Four Seasons properties in Silicon Valley and St. Louis, solidifying his expertise in luxury service operations.
In 2017, Lee joined InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts, where he spent nearly eight years in leadership positions. He served as Hotel Manager at InterContinental Cleveland before assuming General Manager roles at InterContinental Los Angeles Century City at Beverly Hills and the flagship Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown. Most recently, as General Manager of InterContinental Washington D.C. – The Wharf, Lee spearheaded the hotel’s post-pandemic recovery, achieving record revenues and ownership returns for three consecutive years. He also led renovation projects related to the hotel’s event space, lobby, and rooms, as well as a restaurant re-concepting. Under his leadership, the property led the brand in the United States for guest satisfaction and cleanliness in 2024 and was recognized as the #40 hotel in the world in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. Before his hospitality career, he served on active duty in the U.S. Army from 1998-2001, rising to the rank of Sergeant in the 1st Cavalry Division.
