Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest has announced the appointment of Alejandro Lopez as Director of Food and Beverage, bringing extensive international hospitality experience to the iconic luxury property.
In his new role, Lopez will oversee all culinary and beverage operations across the hotel, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and event catering. His leadership will focus on enhancing the hotel’s dining experiences while strengthening its reputation as a culinary destination in Budapest.
Nearly Two Decades of Global Hospitality Experience
Originally from Madrid, Lopez brings nearly 18 years of experience with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. A graduate of Vatel in Nîmes, France, he has built his career across several prestigious Four Seasons properties in London, Paris, Lisbon, and Madrid.
Throughout his career, Lopez has played key roles in major hospitality projects, including the reopening of Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and the success of renowned dining venues at Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris.
Elevating Budapest’s Culinary Scene
Before joining the Budapest property, Lopez contributed to the launch of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, where he collaborated closely with acclaimed chef Dani García to enhance the hotel’s culinary offerings and guest experiences.
At Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, Lopez aims to blend international culinary expertise with Hungary’s rich gastronomic heritage, highlighting regional ingredients, artisans, and world‑renowned wines such as those from the Tokaj region.
Vision for Destination Dining
Under his leadership, the hotel plans to introduce new dining concepts and refined culinary experiences designed to attract both international travellers and local guests.
Hotel General Manager Julia Selyukova welcomed the appointment, noting that Lopez’s passion for hospitality and dedication to craftsmanship will help create memorable dining experiences for visitors at the landmark property overlooking the Danube River.
