DigiYatra allows travelers to move through various airport checkpoints without the need to repeatedly show physical documents. Using biometric verification, the system links a passenger’s identity to their boarding pass, enabling faster entry and security clearance.
The initiative is part of India’s broader push to modernize airport infrastructure and enhance the passenger experience through digital transformation. By reducing physical contact points and paperwork, the facility aims to streamline airport operations and cut waiting times.
Passengers opting for DigiYatra can register their details through the official platform and use designated e-gates at the airport for a smoother journey.
