Tripadvisor Partners with Experience Abu Dhabi to Launch “Abu Dhabi Is Calling” Immersive Activation in Mumbai

Tripadvisor has teamed up with Experience Abu Dhabi, the destination brand of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), to unveil an exciting new project titled “Abu Dhabi Is Calling.” This immersive, multi-sensory activation will take place at Jio World Plaza, Mumbai, from September 26 to 28, 2025.

A Gateway to Abu Dhabi Comes Alive in Mumbai

For three days, Jio World Plaza will transform into a vibrant portal to Abu Dhabi, blending cutting-edge technology with real-time AI interactions and authentic Tripadvisor traveller insights. The experience promises to invite both Indian and international visitors to explore Abu Dhabi like never before.

Super Reality Meets Artificial Intelligence

At the heart of this activation are two immersive domes—one 6-meter and one 8-meter in diameter. The 6-meter dome features the innovative ORA Sphere, a spherical projection system that allows visitors to control their journey through Abu Dhabi in real time.

Guests can interact with 360° cinematic environments showcasing Abu Dhabi’s iconic attractions, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Al Ain Oasis. The dome synchronizes with live Tripadvisor reviews, insider tips, and curated travel data, creating a seamless blend of digital and physical travel experiences.

Dubbed “A Doorway Into Abu Dhabi,” the activation leverages Tripadvisor’s proprietary traveller data, highlighting the emirate’s most-loved destinations and must-do experiences.
