June 19, 2025 – North Africa: European travel giant TUI Hotels & Resorts has strengthened its presence in Africa by launching two new beachfront properties in Egypt and Tunisia, expanding its fast-growing portfolio in the region.

The two new additions are:

  • TUI Blue Samaya, located in Marsa Alam, Egypt – A modern, 143-room resort designed for couples and families, complete with an on-site aqua park, wellness spa, and direct beach access.

  • TUI Suneo Palm Beach Skanes, located in Tunisia – A 294-room property offering lush gardens, entertainment zones, all-inclusive dining, and a private Mediterranean beach.

These resorts are part of TUI’s strategic expansion plan, which includes launching over 20 new properties across Africa in the next few years. The company is targeting leisure travelers looking for affordable, all-inclusive options with European-quality standards.

A TUI representative noted,

“Africa is a key growth market. These new openings allow us to offer diverse travel experiences while contributing to local economies through job creation and sustainable tourism.”

With these additions, TUI now operates more than 10 resorts in North Africa, catering to both European and regional tourists seeking sun, sea, and cultural experiences.
